Email Whitelist Instructions

Chances are your Email Provider uses some type of overzealous filtering — don't miss a single email! Add us to your trusted list of senders, contacts or address book. The technical term for this is "Whitelisting."

If you do not see an email from us in your Inbox, your email service may have mistakenly sent us to your spam folder 😞

Please open your spam folder and if you find an email from open it and mark it as "Not spam"...

Gmail

How to Whitelist RetroSupply in Gmail

There are three ways to whitelist emails using Gmail:

  1. Gmail tabs
  2. Marking an email as “not spam”
  3. Creating a filter

Option 1. Gmail Tabs

If you’re using Gmail tabs (Promotional and Social), click and drag the email you want to whitelist from the Promotions tab to the Primary tab.

Once you do this you'll get a notification that says "This conversation has been moved to Primary. Do this for all future messages from dustin@retrosupply.co?" Click Yes.

Option 2. Marking an email as "not spam"

If the email is already in your spam folder, mark it as “not spam”. Open the email in your spam folder that you want to whitelist, then click Report not spam.

Option 3. Create a filter

If an email is already in your Primary folder awesome! To make sure all emails from RetroSupply always end up there, you can create a filter. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click the cog icon in the top-right corner, and then Settings from the drop-down menu.

  2. Click the Filters tab then Create a new filter.

  3. Enter the domain of the email you want to whitelist in the From field.

  4. Click Create filter with this search.

  5. In the box titled When a message arrives that matches this search select Never send it to spam.

  6. Click the Create filter button.

Apple Mail

How to Whitelist RetroSupply Email in the Mac Mail App

  1. Click Mail > Preferences in the top menu.
  2. Click the Rules tab.
  3. Click Add Rule.
  4. Enter our name into the Description field. For example, "Whitelist: retrosupply.co" to create the new rule.
  5. For conditions, set the first dropdown menu item to say If any of the following conditions are met.
  6. In the next dropdown select From in the first field and Ends with in the second field.
  7. In the text field after Ends with, enter our domain name. Include the "@" so it looks like @retrosupply.co to make the filter specific.
  8. In the Perform the following actions sections, set the three dropdown items to: Move Message, to the mailbox: Inbox (or your desired folder).
  9. Click OK to save the rule.

Outlook

How to Whitelist RetroSuppy in Outlook

To whitelist an email in any version of Outlook after 2000:

  1. Click the blue Click here to download pictures information box.

  2. Click Add Sender to Safe Senders List. You can also click Add the dustin@retrosupply.co to Safe Senders List to whitelist all emails coming from any email address on that domain.
